Updated brace-expansion dependency
A development dependency (brace-expansion) was automatically upgraded from version 1.1.12 to 1.1.18 to keep the project's tooling current and secure.
Update js-yaml dependency
Bumped the js-yaml development dependency from version 4.3.0 to 4.3.1 to include the latest fixes and improvements.
Add stop API to close camera
Users can now call a stop() method to programmatically close the active camera or photo library picker UI on Android and iOS. This new API is documented in the README and available through the Camera object alongside existing methods.
Improve camera location handling code clarity
Renamed internal variables and methods to better reflect their purpose: the temporary image storage property is now called `tempImageDataForLocationManager`, and the method that returns the image after location updates is now called `returnImageAfterLocationUpdate`. Variable names throughout the method were also clarified for better code readability.
Support original photo timestamps
Android image processing now reads and preserves the original capture date/time stored in photo metadata (EXIF data), ensuring this timestamp information is maintained when images are processed.
chore(INFRA): Set up default protection ruleset for default and release branches (#964)
fix(android): Prevent out of memory errors on Android when selecting large media (video) files from the gallery picker. (#923)
A floor, not a guess: counts only commits whose author, co-author trailer, or message explicitly credits an AI tool (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, aider, Codex…). Based on 30 mainline commits. Unattributed AI code isn't counted here — the full audit estimates that separately.
