Search: the result-column constructor over a kind/type-aware field catalog (ST-13a of #1847) (#1905)
Unified preview cards for search results
Search results now display a consistent information card when hovering over any row—whether it's a Term, Query Example, or Data Entity. This replaces separate preview components with a single, unified design.
Search results show why items matched
Search results now display highlighted text and explanatory badges showing exactly why each result matched your query. When you click the (?) badge next to any search result, you'll see which terms or fields matched and how they relate to your search.
Today filter now stays current
Fixed the "Recently Viewed" filter so that when you save a search with "Today", it will always mean the current day when you reopen it—not the day you originally saved it. The filter now resolves time windows on the client side using your local timezone, ensuring consistent behavior across different time zones.
Fix saved search date ranges
Fixed a bug where saved search date filters (recently viewed window) were silently dropped when the search was reapplied. The issue occurred because date values were stored as numbers but the validation code expected text format. Now the system uses the same date parser for both validation and reading, ensuring saved date ranges are preserved.
feat(search): Popularity range facet + distribution histogram + Most-popular sort (ST-9 of #1825) (#1881)
fix(search): saved searches hold every search dimension — asset_kinds + favorites survive save and reapply (#1878) (#1879)
feat(search): a Favorites scope for the unified search; retire the /favorites tab (ST-7, #1841) (#1875)
A floor, not a guess: counts only commits whose author, co-author trailer, or message explicitly credits an AI tool (Claude, Copilot, Cursor, aider, Codex…). Based on 30 mainline commits. Unattributed AI code isn't counted here — the full audit estimates that separately.
